A Message From Mr. Ramirez...
Welcome Back! Happy New Year 2016! I hope you had a restful and peaceful holiday break. Since we NO longer have the California Standards Tests (CST), we need to get ready for the District’s Smarter Balanced Assessments (SBA) in May. These exams are taken on a computer and we must continue our readiness by maintaining our good reading habits, and doing our class work, along with all homework. Be sure your child arrives to school every day and on time, maintains good work habits and completes all assigned work. For further information on these assessments, please see your child’s teacher.
I want to thank all staff and parents for a great 2015 Centennial Celebration at Morningside!! It was a wonderful experience for all of us and also for our many guests that were here. I want give special thanks for our Centennial Committee members: Mr. Cervantes, Mr. Gould, Ms. Quevedo, Mrs. Ramos, and Ms. Stilwell for their awesome leadership with this big endeavor! Job well done. We also want to thank the awesome group of parents and staff volunteers who made this event a success!!
Dear Morningside Parents:
We greatly appreciate your support. If you have any questions, please see your child’s teacher.

Box Tops For Education
Morningside students are collecting box tops to earn money for our school. All you need to do is clip the Box Tops coupons from hundreds of participating General Mills products. Please remember to send your “Box Tops for Education” box tops to school with your child.
You can also visit www.boxtops4education.com to learn more.
You can visit our Morningside School's own Donors Choose web page, and choose a project you would like to see become a reality.
